I went there for revision surgery because the double eyelid surgery I had right before had completely failed and left my eyes uneven. On the first day, maybe because something bad had happened beforehand, the doctor was extremely sharp and aggressive. But since the previous plastic surgeon had been very kind, explained everything in detail, even showed me textbooks before operating, and still completely botched it^^, I thought personality doesn't matter, and someone with good hands is better than a salesman. When I went a second time, the doctor seemed like a different person and was just average. I don't clearly remember what line of thinking I went through, but after visiting a few places, I decided to go with this clinic. But... during the second consultation, the doctor said I had an epicanthic fold and should get an inner corner canthoplasty too. I said I didn't want it because I felt my face was somewhat center-focused, but they said my eyes weren't that close together, that only a slight widening was needed, and that widening would be much better. It wasn't the coordinator telling me this, but the doctor directly, and with such confidence that I half-believed them and said okay. And the epicanthic fold is still with me now. The 'completely ruined eyes' became 'uneven but ordinary eyes.' That means it wasn't a result I could be satisfied with in any way. Enough time passed that the hospital couldn't blame swelling, and when I went back for a follow-up and said, 'I still have an epicanthic fold,' the doctor just went, 'Ah, I see...'^^...sigh... There isn't perfect symmetry on anyone's face, so I'm just living with it, but I don't think the surgery skill matches the doctor's own confidence or academic activity. I sincerely hope their skills have improved a lot by now.
