9-Year Review of Nose Surgery at iWELL

Me: low nose; the frontal shape of my nose itself was okay, but my nose was small and I had no nasal bridge at all Surgery requests: absolutely natural-looking, not obvious Surgical method: tying the nasal tip with septal cartilage(?), I requested 2 mm silicone for the nasal bridge, but was told it was too low and 4 mm was recommended. I remember compromising and doing 3 mm. Surgery cost: I think it was around 1.5 million won? Surgery result: It became the natural-looking nose I wanted, and although I raised it to 3 mm as the director said, it looks very natural. I like that the overall nose shape is also natural, so it does not go out of style. Because my nose surgery turned out well, my friends also had nose surgery at the same clinic with the same director. Even now, 9 years later, I have had no particular side effects or discomfort. Satisfaction: 8.5/10 Things I regret: 1. The consultant explained that if septal cartilage is used, you can make a pig nose, but in reality I cannot make a pig nose, though I can move it left and right. 9 years ago there was not much information about plastic surgery like this, so I think it would have been better if they had given more detailed and accurate information during the consultation. 2. To me, my nose looks slightly crooked. It can be covered with nose contour shading, so it is not noticeable to others. 3. About one month after surgery, scar tissue rose up inside my left nostril, so they did A/S right away at no extra charge, and Director Park Beom-jin, who performed my surgery, excised the scar tissue under local anesthesia. After receiving the A/S, it was corrected immediately and I was satisfied. I remember signing a document before the A/S saying, 'This A/S is the last one.' They were not especially unfriendly or sharp just because I requested A/S. 4. The postoperative scar care guidance was disappointing. I should have managed the scar from immediately after surgery, but there was no explanation like how many times a day and how much ointment to apply, or how to care for it so the scar would be less noticeable. At the time, I thought separate care was not necessary. I was ignorant. When viewed from below, the white surgical incision line and suture stitch line remain faintly. I think I would have been more satisfied if they had informed me that scar care should be done after surgery. Pain: Pain immediately after nose surgery was okay, but the week or so before removing the splint? was really hard. Rather than being hard because it hurt, I could not breathe properly, could not sleep properly, and because of the splint and the cotton-like thing under my nose, I could not eat properly either. I was an average weight, but it must have been so hard that I lost about 5 kg in one week. * After nose surgery, I got blackheads.
