I think it’s been about 2 years? since I had deep cheek fat removal surgery in Gangnam, Seoul. I decided to get the surgery because my chubby cheeks gave me a very round image. For about a week after surgery, the swelling was about the same as after getting wisdom teeth removed. After that, the major swelling went down, but maybe because of residual swelling, there wasn’t any noticeable change. Later, around the time I could barely remember when I had the surgery, suddenly I felt like my face had become slimmer. But there was also a slight cheek hollowing that I didn’t have before. Maybe because I’m a man, I was actually much more satisfied with this amount of cheek hollowing than with full, chubby cheeks. The cost-effectiveness isn’t great, but I don’t think it’s a surgery I regret.
