On day 9 after my nose surgery, I was lying down when a hematoma suddenly burst, and my nose became like Shrek’s. I contacted the clinic right away, had the blood drained, got an injection, had cotton put back into my nose, and had the splint reinforced, so now I have to keep it on for another week. I think it’s best to avoid doing anything that puts pressure on the nose as much as possible, and for nearly 2 weeks after nose surgery, just do nothing and only breathe.
