I originally had severe Indian band wrinkles, so after the grafting under my eyes, the Indian wrinkles actually looked more pronounced for a while. But around the third month, it felt like they had just returned to the level they originally were? One side under my eye is slightly more sunken, so it looks asymmetrical, but my under-eyes were already asymmetrical on my original face, so I do not mind it much.
I was informed in advance during the consultation about the Indian wrinkles and the possibility of slight asymmetry. My dark circles were originally severe due to skin pigmentation, so they were not completely improved, but the contours and hollowness caused by the under-eye fat itself look clearly better than before surgery.
The side effects of fat grafting that I was worried about? The side effects I had heard about here and there did not happen to me, and now that it has been 3 months, there is no pain or foreign-body sensation even when I touch the area.
The cost was a bit higher than at other hospitals, but I just think of it as the price I paid to receive surgery from the director at the hospital I wanted. During the consultation, they said I could do a second fat grafting session if needed, but I plan to stop after the first session.
