Double eyelid (incisional) surgery in my 40s at a plastic surgery clinic

I originally had double eyelids. But once I reached my 40s, my eyes started to droop, and my right eye drooped even more, so the asymmetry became really severe. Trying to open my smaller-looking eyes wider made the wrinkles on my forehead get all fine and crinkly too. Surgery really felt extremely urgent.

So, to get the surgery, I went for consultations at five different hospitals, and after thinking about it for a long time, I finally decided on this plastic surgery clinic. Compared with other hospitals, I trusted the doctor who gave me the consultation more. (It’s really hard to explain, but while talking with the doctor, I thought, this is the place!!! I just had the feeling that the surgery would go well here and that it wouldn’t turn out badly!👍) I also felt reassured that an anesthesiologist is always present at the hospital. The other nurses were also re~~ally kind.

I was really nervous on the day of surgery. Since the eyes are the most important part of the face, I think I got onto the operating table praying that it would go well. I had double eyelid surgery plus fat grafting on the right side.

For the double eyelids, they wake you up during surgery and do it under semi-sedation while you open and close your eyes. (Everyone, please absolutely do not go to a place that does double eyelid surgery fully asleep. Among my acquaintances whose double eyelid surgery failed, all of them had it done under sleep anesthesia where they were just kept asleep the whole time!!!!)

Even while receiving the surgery, I could feel that the doctor was really meticulous!! so I felt completely reassured. (This is really something you can only know after experiencing it!!)

The surgery turned out really well, exactly to my liking. My eyes became big and round again (they’re actually bigger in real life, but the photos don’t capture it, really), the eyes that had been asymmetrical became the same on both sides, and now my forehead wrinkles have disappeared completely.

Also, I didn’t have any bruising at all, and it didn’t hurt either. People around me said I must be suited to surgery, but I think it didn’t hurt and I had no bruising thanks to the doctor’s surgical skill.

It hasn’t even been a month yet, so I’m looking forward to how much prettier it will get once the swelling goes down.

This is truly 100% my double eyelid surgery story with no lies at all, so if you’re thinking about it, please make sure to visit this plastic surgery clinic!! Even if I get revision surgery or want something else done, I’ll go back there again, really!!👍

It may seem like it’s only full of praise, but really.. this is a post where I only wrote my sincere thoughts..
