I had rhinoplasty before, and at the time it felt like the bridge of my nose was raised a bit too much with silicone. Only the bridge was high, while the nasal tip was low and blunt, so the upper-lower balance didn’t match. From the front, the nasal tip looked wide, and from the side, it felt like only the bridge was sticking out. This time, I wanted to lower the bridge a bit and raise the nasal tip, and refine it into a glamorous straight-to-slightly-curved line. Since it was a nose from 10 years ago and this was revision surgery, I was really worried, but I had revision rhinoplasty with donated costal cartilage at Bimin Plastic Surgery. The key point was to correct the overly high bridge while preserving the height of the nasal tip, and because my forehead also looked lacking in volume, I had a small amount of forehead filler done together. I’m now at 1 month, and as the bridge has come down naturally and the nasal tip has become more defined, the overall balance has definitely improved. Before, only the bridge was high, so it looked very obviously surgical, but now it’s much more natural and I like the line. I only had a small amount added to the forehead, but the line connecting to the nose has become softer, so my face looks a bit smoother. It feels like the dissatisfaction I had with my nose for 10 years is finally being somewhat resolved. I’m looking forward to it because I think it’ll get better once the residual swelling goes down more.
