I went to see Director Choi Im-don for a consultation for a third revision surgery after an acquaintance recommended him. The information desk staff were unfriendly.. um... I went in without any expectations. But the director was really good. More than anything, even though I had already had revision surgery for the same reason, the same problem happened again, and no other clinic had been able to give me a clear answer as to why. At And, they used a CT scan that even looks at the facial skeletal structure (according to the consultant, it is a device? program? used at clinics that do facial contouring surgery), and after looking at it, he said, “This is a nose that can only turn out like this if operated on using a standard surgical method. Given your facial skeletal structure, the midface is underdeveloped, and the bone called the anterior nasal spine is also smaller than average, so the problem is that the starting point of the columella, which begins from that area, keeps curling inward.” He gave me a very clear answer. (Whether that really is the clear answer... if I maintain a satisfying result after my third revision surgery at And, then I guess it really will be the correct answer?)
He consulted with me not only about the shape of the nose itself, but also about how the surrounding midface area should be improved to get closer to an ideal face (filling it with things like fascia, capsule, etc.).
The consultant was not extremely kind or someone who immediately made me feel strong trust; she was just pretty... haha
But since the surgery is done by the director, I finished the consultation and left with a high level of trust in the director.
