Hi? I want to share my experience with my eye back-canthoplasty. In 2018, I had it at a plastic surgery clinic near Gangnam Station, but during the one-week recovery period I had conjunctivitis and severe swelling, and it was mentally very hard. After suture removal after 7 days, my eyes clearly looked bigger. For about 2-3 years, I think I was satisfied. The previously congested eyes felt truly relieved, the outer canthal tail dropped down, and the horizontal length appeared longer, so my appearance was upgraded to a softer look. But it didn’t seem to last that long. Because the effect works by a pulling-and-expanding mechanism, it seems to have slowly come back. I don’t know now. With medical progress, there may now be techniques that allow longer satisfaction. Still, I don’t regret it. Skin ages no matter what, and cosmetic surgery cannot be permanent or perfect. There are always scars and sutures, and in the end it is just personal satisfaction. I hope everyone here takes this into account and makes a careful decision after doing enough legwork.
