I had undergone nose surgery several times, so I had a lot of concerns before deciding on revision surgery. In my last surgery, where donated costal cartilage + dermis were used, the shape was fine, but after an excessive diet, inflammation developed and the condition of my nose worsened again. I was very worried about whether surgery would be possible because of the inflammation, but during my consultation with Director Jeong Jin-wook at DL Plastic Surgery, he said that revision surgery would be possible with my current skin condition, and recommended using autologous costal cartilage for long-term maintenance. Also, during the consultation, I felt that he looked at the overall balance of my face, so I trusted him. What I was most worried about after surgery was recurrence of inflammation and drooping of the nasal tip. But perhaps because he provided firm support with autologous costal cartilage, even as time has passed, I hardly feel that the nasal tip is coming down, and the shape is naturally defined. From the front it looks slim, and the side line is raised without being excessive, so it became exactly the image I wanted. People around me have said I look prettier, but I haven’t heard anyone say it looks obvious that I had surgery. Since I’m someone who had surgery several times, I was even more sensitive, but the result came out exactly in the direction I heard during the consultation, so I’m really satisfied. If you’re considering revision surgery, I think it would be good to at least have a consultation at DL Plastic Surgery.
