I had incisional double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction. First of all, I went through an acquaintance’s recommendation, and I had a consultation because they said the director was very famous. During the consultation, he explained really well exactly what I needed, how the surgery would proceed, what kind of eyes I had for cosmetic surgery, and what method would be appropriate for eyes like mine. After that consultation, I went to another clinic, but I didn’t like the doctor’s consultation there as much as at this clinic, so I chose this clinic. And when I talked with the consultant, I said I came through an acquaintance’s referral, and since I was actually going around to clinics with my older sister, we decided to both have surgery at this clinic, but there still wasn’t much of a discount, so I had the surgery at a pretty expensive price. Honestly, for an incision, I think there really wasn’t much scarring and it didn’t turn out badly. But maybe my skin/tissue is very strong, because it loosened easily, so I had an after-service revision within less than a year, but my eye-opening strength was still too weak and the line still didn’t set prettily, so it felt worse than not having done it. I don’t think the ptosis correction worked well either, and maybe my skin heals too well, because the epicanthoplasty reattached too. It was like I had double eyelid surgery, but it looked like I hadn’t. If I don’t look in the mirror, I don’t know what I look like, right? When I looked in the mirror, I was looking at myself, so I unconsciously put strength into my eyes and didn’t realize it. But friends I met after the double eyelid surgery said they really thought I hadn’t had it done, so at first I liked hearing that, but they meant not that it was that natural, but that they genuinely thought I hadn’t had it done. I think my eyes aren’t suited to a large double eyelid line, but right before the surgery I asked the director to make it as large as possible, so maybe that was the problem,.. So people around me would ask, “You had double eyelid surgery, but why do you look sleepy?” and it stressed me out so much. Even now, this doctor is famous and a lot of reviews get posted. I’ve had revision surgery now and am doing well, but before the revision, I heard from an acquaintance that a famous female idol also got double eyelid surgery from this doctor, and somehow I felt so wronged... The reviews were all so good, and it felt like I was the only one it didn’t work out for. It was expensive, and everyone said their results were good, but at the clinic where I had revision surgery, they said this was also a “sausage eye.” If you have thin skin, or if double eyelids usually form easily for you, or if you have inner double eyelids, I really recommend this director. He is realistic, and even though it is incisional surgery, he makes it look very subtle and not obviously surgical, and even if the line is large, he makes it natural. But for people with thick skin, I absolutely do not recommend him. For reference, the acquaintance who introduced me had surgery with this doctor back then and has completely pretty eyes without revision surgery... They didn’t loosen either.
