I thought consultations usually go in the order of consultant-director-consultant, but mine went director-consultant. As soon as the director came in, he observed my face, complimented other areas, and when I said I came for a nose consultation, he looked at my face again and said, “It’s because your nose is wide.” During the consultation, he really used a lot of English. While using English terms, he searched those words on Google and showed them to me, and he explained each surgical method really well. At first, he suggested just tying the cartilage and shaving down the hump slightly, but when I said I also hoped the bluntness of my side profile could improve, he suggested using ear cartilage. He made the consultation atmosphere really comfortable, so I ended up telling him absolutely everything I was worried about. I had also been thinking about medial epicanthoplasty, so I asked, “Should I open the inner corners more?” He said the previous clinic had opened the inner corners a little rounded, so that did bother him a bit, but if I opened them more, my eyes would look too close together, so he told me not to do it. He pursues a natural look, and I think the aesthetic I wanted matched his exactly. When I said this was my first consultation, he told me to go around to more clinics. After the consultation ended, I thought of more things I wanted to ask after visiting more clinics, so I think I’ll have one more consultation here before deciding. The consultation was really meticulous and long, so the consultant came into the consultation room. I highly recommend going for a consultation.

Your confidence is remarkable. You do take questions after the explanation, but if it seems like a similar question has been asked more than twice, you send the person out, telling them to ask the consultant. You also don’t tolerate doubts

The consultation with the director was so-so. It felt like they were busy because my consultation was squeezed in between surgeries. At least since it is a private clinic, I thought there would not be any surrogate surgery. I got the sense
