As of today, it has been 13 days since my nose surgery. The swelling has gone down well in other areas, but the bridge of my nose in particular still has a slightly round swelling that isn’t going down. Bruising resolves with time, but I’m not sure whether this is swelling or a hematoma. If it is a hematoma, where would they insert the injection needle to drain it? And if they say open nasal irrigation, does that mean they tear the nose open again and stitch it back up? I have no information at all, so I’m really anxious, and I get annoyed every time I look in the mirror. Maybe because it’s a factory-style clinic, it feels like they just did the surgery and there’s no postoperative care at all.
