My rib cage circumference is 63 cm, and my breasts were just small. I don’t remember the breast pocket measurement. The director said my tissue was soft? and on the good side, and that I wasn’t someone with absolutely no existing breast tissue, so my breasts would turn out well with any implant. I was debating between Motiva and Mentor Boost, and he said Mentor Boost would suit my own tissue better, so I decided on Mentor Boost. Up until I got on the operating table, I kept going back and forth in my head between Motiva and Mentor Boost 😅 Mentor Boost: left 265, right 290, transaxillary incision. I didn’t want them to be too large and wanted a natural look, so I went under 300 cc. Right now they’re tight and kind of look like pecs, but I’m so excited to see how they’ll look once they become more natural. (The tape marks... are really dirty, but please ignore them...)
Day of surgery I arrived at the hospital one hour before surgery, changed clothes, gargled, washed my face, and waited for surgery in the recovery room. Seeing the director explain again the things I had heard from the consultant, such as side effects and surgical precautions, made me feel that he was really sincere toward his patients. I moved to the operating table, lay down, and had my arms and legs secured, and I was so nervous... I was so nervous that I started talking to someone in the operating room, saying I was scared. The IV needle they put in my arm hurt so much I had never had an injection that painful before... The anesthesiology director told me to take deep breaths, so I did, and then I think I fell asleep instantly, like being sucked into a black hole. When I woke up, I was in the recovery room. I vaguely remember someone shouting before I fully woke up from anesthesia that I shouldn’t fall asleep. I had been scared of general anesthesia and looked it up on YouTube, and I think it said that during extubation, checking whether you can breathe well on your own is important. Thank you to the anesthesiologist.. I was so worried about general anesthesia, but thanks to them it ended well And I heard there are places where the anesthesiology director goes in and out of several operating rooms, but at this clinic, they stay for only one surgery, so there is absolutely no time when the anesthesiology director is absent. That also made me feel very confident.. Until I fully came out of anesthesia, I was so out of it that honestly I don’t even remember what I said. According to the consultant, my face had gone completely pale. In the middle of that confusion, I remember asking the director, “Did it go well for me...” I felt relieved when he said it went really well.. Once you wake up, first of all, your throat really hurts, you want to drink water, and because of the medication your breath smells. At first it hurt so much that I thought, so this is what people mean by severe breast surgery pain, but once the pain-control injection went in, it didn’t hurt. It didn’t hurt even after I went home. But having to sleep elevated, and feeling suffocated because of the compression bra and upper band, was so hard
The day after surgery I was more okay than I expected. It was hard to get up by myself, but if I tried somehow, I could get up. Nothing particularly hurt, but the suffocating feeling was just so hard... to the point that I felt depressed wondering how I would get through a week like this. Because I kept waking up from feeling suffocated..
2 days after surgery The suffocating feeling was one thing, but now the areas with tape were itchy, so I kept waking up and became sensitive Pressure + itching = why did I do this? Also, there was nothing I could do all day, and it was so boring, so that was hard too.
3 days after surgery Because the tape itching made my sleep quality so bad, I eventually contacted the consultant. The consultant is so kind, like an older sister... the kind of older sister I’d want to become friends with. After being told to come in, I ran straight there, and the director personally removed the tape himself!! They say the director does both the taping and the removal himself. Sweet 🍯 He said it was itchy because I had a severe tape allergy, and that I did well to come in. Since I was there today, I also received a swelling laser (?) treatment. Once the tape was removed, I finally felt alive. It’s still only day 3, so they’re firm, but I hope they quickly become soft to the touch and naturally shaped 🤭🤭
