Breast Surgery Reviews

1-Week Post-Op Review

Before consultation: To start with the hospital I chose, I had made appointments to check out a few places, but I canceled the appointments at about three other hospitals. This clinic was the first one, and I visited it when I didn’t know anything about breast surgery. Consultation: After the consultation, I received a detailed explanation. I think my questions were answered. The director had experience, and when he personally showed me videos and said the surgery time was within 1 hour, I felt I could trust him. + My mom kept saying next to me that I absolutely had to choose a small size, but the consultant kindly explained why that wasn’t necessarily the case. Day of surgery (before): Since I had never had general anesthesia before, I worried a lot about things like, what if I wake up during surgery, or what if only my mind wakes up. But on the operating table, after they administered the medication and I took about 3 deep breaths, it was really fine, like a switch had been turned off. And they said the surgery itself took about 50 minutes. Surgery: During the design, they said the subfascial plane was more suitable, so we went with that. They said my skin was on the thicker side and the nipple-to-inframammary fold distance was short, so in terms of shape, subfascial dissection was better. After surgery: On the day of surgery, I came home and just kept sleeping. On day 1, I only rested at home, and from day 2 I went to the department store. On day 3, I went to the department store too, watched a movie, and walked around. On day 4, I think I went out for a bit and walked outside for about an hour. On days 5 and 6, I went to Seoul and hung out without any problems. When I asked the clinic, they said it’s about a B cup.
