How did people around you react after cheekbone surgery??!!! (cheekbones only)

I’m really curious how other people’s acquaintances reacted after cheekbone surgery. For me, it’s only been barely two weeks since my cheekbone surgery, and the only people I’ve met during that time are two really close friends (10-year friends) and a friend I used to see almost every day before surgery. Since even I haven’t adjusted to my swollen post-op appearance, I haven’t been able to meet friends and stuff. (I just said washing my face and hair was annoying, ahahah~~~).........ㅡ,.ㅡ; It’s only been home, or the neighborhood walking path and supermarket -_ My family says my cheekbones have gone in a lot compared to before surgery, and my two really close friends said the cheekbones did go in, but I didn’t look that dramatically different. The front view is similar, but from the side, the cheekbones look reduced. That’s what they said.. The friend I used to see every day before surgery saw me after two weeks and had no idea at all -_ Is it still... too early at week 2 to hear things like my face got slimmer, or that I look different?? Or is there really not much change? ㅡ,.ㅡ;; When I look in the mirror, it definitely seems like they went in.... At the hospital, the doctor and the nurses also said my cheekbones were reduced a lot compared to before surgery, but maybe they’re just saying that.. heh~ I know cheekbone surgery isn’t a surgery with an obvious change like nose or eye surgery, and that it’s a surgery that softens the image or makes you look prettier in some subtle way, but deep down I still hope people notice even a little. How did people around you react after you had cheekbone surgery?? I’m curious whether anyone recognized it right away or whether anyone said you changed a lot~~~ But! It has to be reactions from people who didn’t know you had surgery ^-^ Please leave lots and lots of replies~~~
