Nose Surgery Reviews

I had surgery for a hump nose and resolved my side-profile stress

At first, I lived thinking my hump nose was just a unique feature and tried to see it positively, but every time I took photos, I checked my side profile, and even when meeting people, I felt self-conscious about my side profile. I tried to cover it with makeup, but maybe because I’m bad at it, it didn’t cover well, and I felt surgery was the answer. When I actually went for consultations, several hospitals basically talked about osteotomy and silicone, so honestly, because I was worried about side effects, I wasn’t able to decide easily. But after consulting with Director Cha Myung-gyu at a plastic surgery clinic, I gained courage and was able to decide on surgery. After looking at my nose, he said the hump was an issue, but because my skin is thick, my nose was the type that looked even bulkier. He told me very clearly that in this situation, if an implant is inserted, the nose would actually look like it is protruding and unnatural, so correcting the hump without an implant would be the most natural. Because he accurately pointed out the parts that would look awkward if done a certain way, I trusted him. And really, as a result, surprisingly, it doesn’t feel like I fixed my nose, but more like it’s still my original face, except the part I hated most disappeared and it naturally improved. People around me also say “Something about your vibe changed” rather than “Did you get your nose done?” so I think even that is really nice to hear haha I feel like touching up only exactly what was needed was the decisive move. After having surgery, I realized this is why everyone talks so much about how important consultations are :)
