They said my nasal bridge is crooked...

Today is day 16 after surgery. I went to the clinic today, and the doctor said my nasal bridge was crooked to one side, so he kept pressing the bridge hard in the opposite direction and told me to press it firmly at home for more than 5 minutes too. But it feels like the bridge that had gone down is swelling again...(For reference, I had a very small amount of silicone inserted.) (I’m worried that maybe doing this wrong could even cause inflammation) I’m worried whether it’s okay for me to press it like this on my own. He told me to come back to the clinic the day after tomorrow... He also said that after about 2 weeks, it has hardened quite a lot... I’m wondering if any of you have had the experience of repositioning it again by hand like me. Oh, and the area where the cast was pressed down developed bruising and became indented. They say this will all go away too, but I’d like to hear from people who have had the same experience as me about when it might disappear.
