Every day is a double-eyelid surgery reveal

When I came back after taking a week off after surgery, I had a somewhat big event coming up, so I had to put on makeup right at 2 weeks post-op. People complimented me, saying I seemed to have gotten prettier in the meantime. But I could’ve just brushed it off like, “Oh, really~?” I got so excited that I revealed I’d had double eyelid surgery, and then my seniors scolded me. They told me to hide it a bit lol... But after I said I had double eyelid surgery, everyone else started revealing theirs too. What is this, an office of fake eyes;; lololol Even when I post selfie stories, it’s kind of like: “You got prettier” -> (me) “They’re fake eyes” -> “When did you do it?”, “It doesn’t look like you had surgery”, “It looks natural”, etc. People around me start asking for the clinic info. It changed so subtly that until I say it, people don’t even know I had surgery, but once I say I did, everyone asks for the info. It’s somehow strange... lol I guess everyone lives with at least one double eyelid surgery in their heart. But another personal satisfaction point is when I take photos of my face with the rear camera, seriously... Uneven-eye trait) If I look in selfie mode and take a photo, I can make it look pretty, but with the rear camera, the strength I use to open each eye is different, so I’d come out looking gloomy with sanpaku eyes. Ha... photos like that were really hard to edit too, so they just went straight to the trash. Now, when I simply open my eyes, that’s my natural-looking face, so I feel sooo much more at ease. Whew. The number of times I press the shutter? It really gets cut in half lol Besides that, even if I eat late-night snacks the night before and sleep, my double eyelids don’t disappear! This is the real kicker... My makeup style has changed a lot too... Because I have a lot of flesh around my eyes, I used to draw thick eyeliner, but now everything shows even if I draw it thin. (But I couldn’t break my old habit and drew only the tail thick, and I was seriously shocked...) These days I watch Reels and only look at makeup techniques every day. But every day I try Douyin makeup and fail. Ah, but seriously, when getting a lash perm, not being able to lift them tightly because of the eyelid flesh? That doesn’t happen anymore... now I can extend them until they almost touch my eyebrows lol But what’s really weird is that so many people asked if I had medial epicanthoplasty... Does it look that way? Anyway, double eyelid surgery is the best thing I did this year lolol Still... everyone, don’t drink alcohol while the swelling is going down,,, Your eyes get itchy. I got so mad watching baseball that I had a few glasses of somaek, and then I spent days anxiously worrying. But nothing happened, though... Listen well to your doctor...
