It has been about 100 days since I had nostril base reduction and alar lifting. Most of the major swelling went down in the first week after surgery, and over 1, 2, and 3 months, it has now almost all gone down. I was stressed because my nostrils were too visible from the front and my alae were rounded. They’re still not completely invisible, but they improved a lot. It’s not as dramatic a change as raising the nasal bridge, but the overall impression of my face has changed a lot, and I’ve heard a lot of comments like, “Did you lose weight?” and “Your nose got slimmer.” I’m so satisfied.
