I had epicanthoplasty done on the inside. I don’t know how I should explain it, but after surgery, the swelling went down, yet the epicanthoplasty scar above the line appeared white. It protruded so much that the front line looked like two lines. Still, I spent a month thinking it would settle down after some time. But even then, the epicanthoplasty scar did not settle down, so I went to the clinic. They said tissue? had clumped together at the incised area and was swollen. So they told me to massage it diligently. In words they said gently, but the pressure they used while calling it massage really hurt! So from then on, I pressed firmly on one eye at a time while watching TV, enough to make me tear up. At first, if you do that, it gets red and swollen, but I still kept doing it. As I kept doing it, it would settle down, and after a little time passed, the scar would rise up again. After doing that for several days, the scar that had been protruding white and raised did not completely flatten, but it settled down to the point that it was almost invisible^-^ For those suffering because of epicanthoplasty scars, please keep massaging them. They say it is effective within 6 months at the latest ^ -^ lol And they say epicanthoplasty scars are worst at 2 to 3 months. Press firmly! For reference, I had an incisional procedure. It may be slightly different for those who had a non-incisional buried-suture method ^-^ There seem to be many people struggling with epicanthoplasty scars, so I just wrote a little of what I know lol
