I do not have any particular symptoms right now, but... I am getting my stitches removed the day after tomorrow. But earlier, while I was gently washing the area under my eyes, I think water splashed onto the right double eyelid surgery site. I was really startled, but because I had eye ointment applied, I could not tell where the water had splashed Water is not supposed to touch the double eyelid surgery site, right? But if water does get on it, what happens?? Also, I heard that sleeping with about two pillows keeps the eyes from swelling, so since the day of surgery I have kept two pillows stacked up and have been sleeping not completely sitting, but almost in a sitting position. This position is so uncomfortable that I keep waking up while sleeping ㅡㅜ How long do I have to sleep in this position?? After the stitches are removed, would it be okay to use just one pillow..??
