I was someone whose old injury marks from childhood didn’t really show, to the point that I never particularly thought I scarred easily. It was a bit late, but at 22, I was so envious of the people around me who got double eyelid surgery and became prettier, so I also got recommendations from people around me, went to consultations at a few places, chose one of them, and went ahead with the surgery. But unlike what I had expected, right before I got on the operating table, when they were drawing the guide on my eyes, they tried to make it glamorous, and they even tried to do more epicanthoplasty, to the point that I had to ask them to reduce it..
But the result was that the epicanthoplasty was also done more excessively than I expected, and maybe because the pulling force was that strong, I developed scar tissue on my double eyelid line too. I also show a little lagophthalmos when I sleep.. Everyone, if you really feel something is wrong, get off the operating table.. I didn’t have the courage to do that, so I’ve been regretting it for 5 years. Now I can’t bring myself to get revision surgery because I’m afraid worse side effects might happen.. Ads only make me suspicious.. Anyway, I’m just so upset.. Please don’t take it lightly, think it over really carefully, consider that your image may change, and take into account your own skin/scarring tendency and the look you’re pursuing before proceeding! I hope everyone becomes as pretty as they hoped.. Fighting!!
