Day 17 after jaw surgery....

Other people are making a fuss that their swelling won’t go down... But I don’t know whether I have swelling or not. From the outside, it looks like there’s no swelling.. People say that since the angles are gone, I look a bit slimmer, like I lost some weight(?) just that much, but when I take photos with a digital camera, it also seems a little swollen... The side line seems slimmer because the angles are gone, but from the front I don’t think it has changed.. Still, they say it gets better with time...^^ I was really worried because my mouth was a little crooked when I smiled, and although it hasn’t fully returned yet, it seems a bit better. I can fit two fingers in my mouth, and because I’m scared, I haven’t tried opening it more than that.. What worries me a little is that my shoulders, neck, and jaw area get stiff and ache, anyway.. it feels a bit tight When I stay still at home it’s not like that, but if I walk around outside a bit I get tired quickly.. maybe because of the general anesthesia.. Because people said I need to eat well, I ate so well from after surgery until today that it’s a relief my weight hasn’t gone up... I’m really curious how the people who shared the lodging with me are doing... I’m thinking of sending them an email today..^^
