I went in for a revision eyelid surgery consultation, and the atmosphere in the clinic felt a bit scary. While I was waiting for the consultation, I could hear the surgery sounds all the way there. They kept saying, "Patient, please get up, please get up." I thought, okay, that's how it is, and then during the consultation they even took a front-facing photo. I said I wanted the photo deleted, and when I asked them to delete it in front of me, they refused. They just said they'd delete it later and told me to come back the next day to check, but the doctor ran off when I asked why it couldn't be deleted in front of me. The consultation itself was authoritarian, and I felt like if the surgery went wrong here, they'd just wash their hands of it.
