Which is better, shaving the nose or doing it without shaving?

Please look at my nose..

My nose is small, but if I raise it, would it really look pretty? The pain is one thing, but with surgery coming up, I'm conflicted.. For the nasal bridge and nasal tip with cartilage.. Please let me know what you think..
