I went to the hospital today because it was almost six months since my surgery.. But when I went in at the 3-month mark too, the doctor said to remove the Gore-Tex.. The bridge between my eyes is way too high, and compared to that, the tip of my nose keeps drooping more and more as time goes by.. For reference, my nose was a hump nose, so I know they shaved the bridge a little, inserted Gore-Tex, and tied up the tip with ear cartilage.. But it has already been 6 months since I had Gore-Tex, so can it be removed safely?? And after removing the Gore-Tex, they said they would raise the bridge between my eyes with an Artcoll injection and correct the tip again, but they said the Artcoll injection has to be done about once every 4 years.. Right after the first surgery, I also uploaded photos here and there were a lot of people asking if my nose looked pretty, but as time passed the tip of my nose dropped, and now they’re saying I even need revision surgery, which is really frustrating and depressing.. I’m not some experimental guinea pig, so if they had just raised it with Artcoll injections from the beginning... If anyone has had Gore-Tex removed and then had revision surgery, please give me some advice!! Please!!
