I had epicanthoplasty and double-eyelid surgery in 2011 or 2012. My eyes stayed puffy like sausages for more than 3 months, and it was a failure because anyone could see that they had overdone the line into an outer line without removing the fat from the eyelids. The epicanthoplasty also failed, so the epicanthal fold is still there. A few months after the surgery, I went back and asked for correction because it seemed the surgery had been done wrong. In the end, they operated again, but they made the line go far past the outer corner of the eye, which was really hard to look at.
