Day 5 after surgery - Stitch removal

I had a fever all night, and the doctor said not to take fever medicine and let’s see why I have a fever, so I went to the hospital today. (Anyway, today was the day to get my stitches out.) My face is still very swollen and I look like a monster (I’m so embarrassed to even see the doctor..) Anyway, they checked my temperature, looked at my throat, and said my lymph nodes were swollen too... They said I had caught a bad cold. They said if it were an infection caused by the surgery, only my nose would feel hot and my nose would turn red. Since I didn’t have those symptoms, they said it seemed like a cold.. They asked when the fever started, and since it started the day after surgery, I said I’d been taking fever medicine, but the fever kept going even so.. Then they told me not to take fever medicine. So today I got 3 shots in my arm? And although I do tend to be a bit of a whiner, I didn’t feel any pain at all during surgery, and I’ve spent so much time in hospitals that I’ve had so many injections I’m sick of them, so I can usually endure most things, but they were pressing on my swollen nose to drain the pooled blood by pushing hard with their thumbs, and I screamed without meaning to. With my nose hurting like that, they gave me a small anesthetic shot to remove the stitches, and when the needle went into my already sore nose, tears just welled up Even the stitch removal stung and stung... Anyway, it feels like I’ve gone through every kind of suffering today. I think the doctor was probably cursing me in his head.ㅡㅡ; Big build, but such a big baby. Anyway, they said to come again tomorrow to check my temperature and disinfect it. Even on the taxi ride home after treatment today, my nose felt numb and throbbing the whole time.. I want the swelling to go down fast, the cold to get better, and to become a normal person soon~~~
