I know my face has a lot of issues overall. Since I was young, I was so brainwashed with people saying, “Your nose is a bulbous nose, it’s a great nose that brings good fortune,” so when I was young I didn’t care much. But at some point, whenever I happened to look in the mirror, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I could only see my nose. Once I started noticing it, I kept seeing only my nose, and the stress was truly extreme. Eventually I ended up getting nose surgery. If I had known the change would be this big, I should have done it sooner. My parents, who had opposed it, weren’t hugely pleased when they saw the result, but they did say I did well. Now, for now…
