One side of my double eyelid crease had loosened a little, so after going around to a few clinics and finding one I trusted, I had my revision surgery today! I wanted to share the details and also just talk about it a bit. One eye only had the thread come loose and come out from the inside, so I had surgery on just that side. During the consultation, they noticed brow-facial asymmetry that I had never been told about before, and the side where the crease had loosened also had more fat, so the surgery was done with fat removal and a partial incision. Surgery itself was really fascinating. At first they used a little sedation, then local anesthesia, and after that I was awake during the operation, so it felt like I was almost in a bare state but with no sensation lol. I guess it may have also been because only one eye was operated on, which made the time shorter. Anyway, it’s the day of surgery, and because of the fat removal it’s still dressed, so I can check it tomorrow after they take it off, but aside from the swelling everything seems fine. Next time I’d like to post an update with photos too.
