Before the surgery, I came in and out of this place several times a day, thinking about where I should get it done.. I really agonized over it for a long time. In the end, I chose a hospital near my house..^^; I think the consultation lasted about 5 minutes. I booked the surgery for 3 days later right away. I had no worries at all, just lots of excitement~ Even when I was lying on the operating table, I wasn’t nervous. Hmm.. come to think of it, I was really tense when I had LASIK surgery..-_-;; After the surgery, I wondered what to do about the swelling.. Should I buy pumpkin juice like you all said, eat seaweed soup, or go for walks... In the end, I only did cold compresses. I alternated the two packs the hospital gave me, for half a day each, for 4 days, and the swelling went away completely.^^; I had no bruising at all, so I didn’t do warm compresses either. Except for going to the hospital, I didn’t go outside at all. Mom said that if I had drunk pumpkin juice, I might have lost my double eyelids..^^; Four days after the surgery I went to have the stitches removed.. and I heard that removing the stitches hurts more than the surgery. It felt like the nurse was cutting the stitches with scissors.. because my eyes were closed, I couldn’t really tell. I was getting tense thinking the stitches were about to come out, and then they said, “Please get up.” -_-;; Ugh.. surgery and stitch removal.. it doesn’t hurt.. -_-;; I’m not exactly dull, but I also didn’t swell much at all, so I’m really glad it didn’t hurt and didn’t swell..
