Actually, today is day 3. These photos were taken by my younger sibling last night, on day 2. They were taken with my eyes relaxed. My family thinks so too, and I think so too. The doctor and nurse said days 2 and 3 would be the most swollen and would look unsightly, but I don’t think I’m like that. It seems similar to the day of surgery, or maybe a little better. For aftercare, I went out at night and took a walk with my mom. I drank pumpkin juice before and after meals (now I feel like I’ll throw up just from smelling it... --;) I took my medicine properly, and when sleeping I kept my upper body raised really high. I’m also eating pumpkin porridge, and now seaweed soup too. I’m doing cold compresses too, but I’m not doing that quite as diligently. Because I’m watching TV... ^^; Oh! As the nurse said, I’m opening my eyes wide. Apparently that makes the line prettier. It’s hard, becoming prettier..^^; I’m using all the information and advice I got here and working hard at it. It was buried sutures, and I didn’t want it big, so I asked them to make it thin, only about as much as when I used eyelid glue before. I’m sick of eyelid glue now. Nearly 5 years of eyelid glue.. --;; Everyone, please take a look and tell me if you think it’ll be okay. If the response is good, I’ll post the changing process again later. ^^
