It feels like nothing has changed at all,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sigh

I had double eyelid surgery with the non-incisional buried-suture method, and it’s been 8 days now. But originally I had double eyelids about 7~8 mm in size, formed after wearing eyelid tape for a few days, so they were multiple folds and a bit faint, so I had surgery to make them a bit bigger and clearer. The doctor said that if I made them bigger, it would look obvious that I had surgery, and that if he just fixed them at the same current size, the line would be cleaned up and my eyes would look more defined, so I had surgery that way. The swelling is gradually going down, and now that 8 days have passed,,,, it doesn’t seem like much has changed The double eyelids haven’t even fully settled yet I heard that with the buried-suture method, they get a lot smaller as time passes, so if they get even smaller from here, I’ll have wasted my money and gone through all that suffering for nothing. I’m really sad,,,, I’m anxious and depressed, really,, Do double eyelid creases really get a lot smaller??
