Eye Surgery Reviews

Revision surgery) I had it redone at a plastic surgery clinic after ophthalmology surgery~ same-day photos

I’m really feeling the saying that cheap things are cheap for a reason. I paid 600,000 won at a famous ophthalmology clinic for double eyelid surgery, but the heights became uneven on both sides.. and the outline was way too heavy..(I had emphasized that I wanted a natural in-out line.) But.. a few days ago, 6 months after surgery, one side came undone.. so it became even more uneven..(The upper photo is the one after it came undone.) Of all things, the side that was at least less of an outline came undone.. That became an even bigger reason to regret the ophthalmology surgery.... It was totally uneven.. so I even asked a specialist doctor on this website for advice.. about getting a refund for the ophthalmology surgery fee.. Fortunately.. I got the surgery fee back..(embarrassed, awkward, ugh...) After getting the surgery fee back, my mind kept going back and forth.. I thought maybe I should just live like this.. but every time I looked in the mirror, only the unevenness stood out.. I had made a big decision to have the surgery.. so if I was going to do it, I wanted it done properly.. While cautiously considering revision surgery, it was one worry after another.. Some days I thought, yes, do it, definitely get revision surgery.. Other days I thought, no.. it’s not ugly.. it’s not like I have only one double eyelid, the sizes are just a little different.. and then.. I would think about having surgery again.. ah.. really.. you know, right?? That feeling? Today, I finally.. confidently(?) got revision surgery at a specialized plastic surgery clinic near Sinsa Station. Because I was afraid of revision surgery.. I thought about only raising the one eye where the line had come undone, but the doctor there advised that it would be better to also correct the unnaturally large eye.. so after the consultation, I really thought about it for a long, long time at the clinic.. and said I would do that.. I had brief sleep anesthesia, but maybe I came to my senses too clearly.. it felt like I wasn’t anesthetized at all.. I actually liked that better, and even during surgery, we talked little by little and I asked the doctor to please do a good job.. Now that it’s done.. I think it was good that I did both sides.. They reduced the eye that had been very thick a bit.. and raised the eye that came undone and became an inner double eyelid a bit.. so I think both sides will end up almost similar.. The surgical method was: For the larger eye, they released only the middle, lowered it, and pinched it again, and for the smaller eye that had come undone, they made the line slightly higher and did buried sutures in 3 spots. Today is the first day, so there is some swelling, but honestly, it’s much less than when I had it done at ophthalmology..^^ At the ophthalmology clinic, I was almost shocked when I saw my own face..(over 2 months in hiding) Anyway.. as of right now, on the day of surgery, I’m satisfied, and I just hope the swelling goes down well. Those having revision surgery, stay strong, fighting. Now that I’ve done it, I actually feel relieved.. Most of all.. my left eye, where the line had been extremely high, has become smaller.. so I’m happy.. haha..(and the sunken middle is gone too..) Everyone, stay strong.. I’m leaving after gaining a lot of courage from this community~
