I was 4 months after nose surgery and it had been healing well, but my boyfriend pulled on my philtrum and the columella area got pulled along with it. Nasal tip ear cartilage, columellar strut, septal cartilage, silicone on the nasal bridge, columella — the columella really, seriously hurt so much. For over a week, the columella area became a bit red and the pain was very severe. But it didn’t swell. I went to the hospital where I had surgery, and they said that if it were inflammation, it would have to be severely swollen, so it wasn’t inflammation, and they sent me away without even giving antibiotics. Meanwhile, the pain kept getting worse. In the end, I went to a local ENT clinic, and they said the columella incision area was red and that it was inflammation...
