There are still clinics that lure in unfortunate people just to keep their business going, but “monolid surgery” does not exist as a proper, normal method. It removes a double-eyelid line by excising perfectly normal skin, and the reason this method is dangerous is that it can cause lagophthalmos. With lagophthalmos, the absolute amount of skin becomes severely insufficient, so even if you later want to get double-eyelid surgery again or change the design, it is not easy. That is because the skin excision has eliminated all the space where a double eyelid could be created. I hope there will be no more fools who enter this hellish path that ruins their life. In short…
