I have some questions after a consultation for nose implant removal. My skin is thin, so I’m worried after silicone removal. I saw a surgical review from someone some time after surgery saying that if the capsule is removed too, even the bone can show through. But they also say that if it isn’t removed, there can be issues like contracture or inflammation, so opinions seem divided on whether to remove the capsule or not. If anyone knows well, please leave a comment. And for the nasal tip, even if everything else is removed, the septal cartilage has to be left in place to prevent contracture, right?
