Day 2 After Fat Grafting

I had it done yesterday at 3. They said the backs of my thighs were asymmetrical (first time I’d heard that), so they only harvested from one side. I only had one week, so they didn’t overfill. I only wanted the areas beside my nose and the nasolabial folds done, but the clinic said to leave out the nasolabial folds and instead make the overall cheeks and facial contour softer, even mentioning the outer eye area, so I had it done up to there. I insisted on the nasolabial folds, so in the end they did those too. From what I asked before surgery, they said they would inject a total of 10 ml. But why! Usually, when I see photos people post from the first day, they don’t look swollen on day one and look pretty, but I look like I have the cheeks of a mean-looking middle-aged woman. When I asked the clinic about precautions, they only told me not to wash for one week, and that was it. Honestly, I think it’s the clinic’s job to explain postoperative care to the patient so they don’t feel anxious, but I’m extremely anxious. I wanted to eat rice, but it throbbed like I’d had a molar removed and it was hard to open my mouth, so I ate porridge. I’m thinking of trying to eat small amounts of rice in the evening. Someone who had it done said that with fat grafting, you shouldn’t even do warm compresses to reduce swelling, and that the graft survival rate is higher if you don’t move your face. Right now, all I can do is swallow liquid food and gently wipe with a wet towel. Around when will the thigh pain go away, and when will my face become soft like my own tissue? (They say it’s hard at first.)
