Hello? I’ve only been reading every day, and this is my first time posting. I’m a case where I only had a double eyelid on one side, so I did the buried suture method on just one side. It’s not that I had no double eyelid at all; I did have one, but it kept coming undone, so I just got it done this time. lol This morning I went in really nervous, and while I was lying on the operating table.. I was really shaking. Because it was my first surgery.. As I was lying there, all kinds of thoughts came to mind.. Should I do it, or should I just live like this... Since I’d already come, I decided to do it.. lol But then suddenly I remembered posts I’d read here saying anesthesia hurts, the buried suture method hurts more.. Those things just kept popping into my head. But when it actually started, after disinfection, the doctor said, “I’ll do the anesthesia. It’ll sting a little.” So I was tense, but they said if you strain, you’ll bruise, so I just relaxed and lay there. But what do you know.. it didn’t hurt at all! During the surgery, it really didn’t hurt even once. So that actually feels stranger, since I saw so many people saying it hurt. Anyway, after the surgery I ate, went to karaoke.. lol And now I’m writing this.^^ There isn’t much swelling either, so I don’t think I even need to use what the hospital gave me for warm/cold compresses.^^ Anyway, I’m so happy.. right now~ As I wrote, it got long.. I didn’t really like plastic surgery that much, but now that I’ve actually done it, I feel more confident and I’m really happy~ If I have time later, I’ll upload a photo..^^ Thank you for reading this long post~^^
