Friday, May 26, rhinoplasty Silicone 3 mm / ear cartilage for the nasal tip / open approach ------------------------------------------------- After rhinoplasty.. after they put tape on top of my nose.. on top of that, they also put on something white with lots of holes like a mosquito net.. (This was very hard..) As soon as I got to the office.. I started ice packs.. kept my diet to only pumpkin juice and pumpkin porridge.. (-_-;;) Even when sleeping.. I slept sitting on the sofa.. (-_-;;;;) ------------------------------------------------ The next day.. the 27th.. Challenge to become a monster.. Swelling started between both sides of the glabella and from the inner corners of the eyes.. I heard that if you do things like foot massage or a foot bath.. blood circulation improves and swelling goes down faster.. so I ordered a foot bath machine to the office.. started foot baths.. (What is this at the office.. -_-;;) ------------------------------------------------- The day after that.. the 28th.. A complete monster.. couldn't bear to look with my eyes open.. -_-;; Kept my diet, sleeping position.. and foot baths.. the same.. (-_-v) ------------------------------------------------- The 29th.. I went to the clinic.. and they removed the white, hard mosquito-net-like thing at the very top of the nasal bridge.. So now.. it was just tape left on. From that evening.. the swelling slowly started to go down.. amazing.. ------------------------------------------------ The 30th.. The swelling went down a lot.. I really felt that time is the best medicine.. ------------------------------------------------ The 31st.. Finally.. they removed the stitches under my nose (the open approach site).. and took off the tape on the nasal bridge.. But! Then!! No way.. what is this.. My nose is curved in a C-shape! At the clinic.. they said it was because the right nasal bridge was more swollen.. ------------------------------------------------ June 1.. The swelling is going down day by day.. I slept sitting up until this day.. (Even I think that's impressive.. ^^v) I'm really worried about my nose that looks curved in a C-shape.. The nasal tip is also blunt.. (This must really be because of swelling..) ----------------------------------------------- June 2.. Finally.. even the stitches inside the nose were removed.. When I mentioned that my nose kept looking crooked.. they said only after 3 months can they tell whether the silicone really settled in the wrong position or not.. After 3 months.. if the silicone really is crooked.. they said they'd do revision surgery.. (They said it and walked off in a way that made me slightly upset..) I returned to the office thinking I'd die if that happened.. From after surgery until this day, I hadn't gone home.. I slept at a friend's place.. because I had only told my mother about the surgery.. and I was afraid my father would be shocked if he saw me.. I went home after one week.. and my mother said, "Hey~! What is that!! You look completely like a lion! Sigh~ Why did you do that~ Sigh~" I'm already the person involved and the most anxious and upset.. ------------------------------------------------- June 3.. I think they may have set the starting point of the silicone between the eyebrows too high.. When I touch between the eyebrows.. since it's hard with no soft area.. I think the swelling has mostly gone down.. but when I look in the side mirror.. the nasal bridge starts.. from just below the eyebrow line.. The silicone starting point is the most natural and pretty when it's between the eyebrows and the eyes.. Right now I have a complete lion nose.. Even now, I'm diligently.. drinking pumpkin juice.. (I don't eat pumpkin porridge.. I got sick of it.. -_-;) and writing this while doing a foot bath.. Even while I'm stressed because my nose looks like this.. I think it's true that cosmetic surgery.. the more you do, the more addictive it becomes.. During vacation in the third week of June.. I'm planning to get double eyelid surgery and lateral canthoplasty.. ^^;; (But everyone has been posting negative reviews about lateral canthoplasty.. so I'm debating.. -_-a) June 4.. hoping for a somewhat better nose shape.. I think I'll end today's review and foot bath here.. (I've been doing the foot bath for 40 minutes now.. and I'm sweating like crazy......)
