When I was getting a consultation for removal, the fact that my skin had gotten worse recently also came up, while we were talking about dermatology medication. But from what I vaguely heard, I think they said my skin getting worse might be because of the silicone. I don’t remember clearly, though. I was worried it might break out even more because I wouldn’t be able to wash my face after the removal surgery, but surprisingly, I didn’t get things like inflammatory acne. Can silicone possibly make your skin worse? After removal, I was told the silicone had undergone a little calcification. Could my skin getting worse have been affected by that?
