What Anesthesia Feels Like

I had medial epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction + partial incision for 1.7 million won. Today is day 2. I can't upload photos because I have something attached to my eyes right now. If I take it off later, I'll upload a little bit^^; Um... the anesthesia for the medial epicanthoplasty hurt the most. They put the injection deeply in an instant right in front of my eye (where the medial epicanthoplasty is done), and I thought they were stirring my eye around;; I'm the type who cries enough to shake the whole hospital just from getting one injection, so maybe I was even more scared before surgery. (I was trembling so much while waiting that I thought I would die;;;) Still, it was bearable. Sounds like ah!! just came out on their own haha Anyway, medial epicanthoplasty anesthesia really does hurt haha And next was the ptosis correction anesthesia. This anesthesia... it's scary even to talk about. This one makes tears well up; First, during surgery, you know the area just above the eyelashes? They anesthetize one side at a time and start with the anesthetized area first. They jabbed the needle in there, you know? It felt like it was going all the way into my eyeball, but the doctor said, "It feels like that, right? But it's not. I'm putting it above the eye." Even if that put my mind at ease, it didn't make it stop hurting lol So I felt relieved for a moment. But that wasn't the end. For about 3 or 4 seconds? it felt like they were stirring my eye around, and then the needle came out. Ugh... the surgery itself is manageable, but the anesthesia is really... no no. Still, I think the double eyelid anesthesia barely hurt. People only getting double eyelid surgery don't need to be scared. Even for me, who is scared of injections, double eyelid anesthesia was tolerable lol As for the surgery process... when I first went into the operating room, they marked the line, then first gave me anesthesia for the double eyelid and medial epicanthoplasty, and I think I waited about 10-15 minutes? Something like that. When the surgery started, aside from the anesthesia, it really didn't hurt at all; I just have a habit of opening my eyes unconsciously when they close, and it would be awkward if I opened my eyes during surgery, right?; So I kept going, "Brain, close your eyes, close them, don't open them" while having the surgery lol And I could hear all the sounds of the doctor cutting something, but since it didn't hurt, it was okay. You know that feeling of being stitched up? That was definitely a bit unpleasant. When they stitch, it feels like your eye is being lifted along with the thread; That was a little uncomfortable. Everything else was fine. If I were to give one tip here, from the anesthesia until the end, I tried really hard not to tense up my body. And because I was worried I might make the doctor uneasy while they were concentrating, I didn't talk to them at all; During anesthesia, I was scared, so I did say things like please make it not hurt... But after anesthesia, there is something that hurts during surgery. Your butt gets so sore from the operating table. I seriously thought I would die because of my butt; Everyone, either prepare a way to keep your butt from getting sore (like bending your legs, etc.) or put a towel or something under your butt. Your butt really hurts. This was more annoying than the anesthesia lol And my head hurt too, from lying there for over two hours. The headache was no joke. My head kept hurting until last night, but this morning it's quite a bit better haha +I have something I'm curious about. I'm on day 2 after surgery now, and since right after surgery yesterday, I haven't had swelling;; They say day 2 is usually when swelling is the worst, but I'm barely swollen right now? I can only see wounds on my eyes (A bruise suddenly appeared last night, but by morning it disappeared;) Does that mean there's a high chance it will become an inner double eyelid later? I'm so worried that I'm not even doing warm/cold compresses right now. I'm deliberately sleeping lying down and trying not to move Ah... it can't become an inner double eyelid.. Also, more than an inner double eyelid, I originally wanted the line itself to show slightly when my eyes are open (so, slightly bigger than a normal in-line crease). But right now it seems like once the swelling goes down, only the outer corner line will show a little sob... please tell me!!!
