My original nose had a broad nasal bone that spread sideways, so I had an osteotomy done. Right now, with the osteotomy and silicone in place, it looks straight and pretty... but I can't imagine what it would look like if I remove it. Honestly, I don't have much desire for a high bridge; if just improving the blunt nose tip I was born with and the nostrils that flare out to the sides would be enough, I'd want to remove everything. If all the cartilage is removed and the cartilage is repositioned, can the tip of the nose and the nostril shape return to something between the surgical nose and my original nose? And after the osteotomy, they probably shaved the bridge a little and put in silicone...
