A really, really long and detailed surgery review! Please read it

Hello^^ I can’t believe I’m writing a review in this community! lol Originally, I had a cyst and a tumor in my eye area, so I had it done for medical purposes to remove them.. But they said if they removed them, it would leave a scar.. so a professor at 00 University Hospital said they would cover the scar with a double eyelid. But.. I only had the tumor on one side.. So I asked, what about the other side? Then they said there was nothing wrong with the other side, so they wouldn’t do it! So I just had the other side done for cosmetic reasons.. But... oh my gosh~ Maybe because the surgery I had was medical, it was so different from the reviews I always saw in this community!!! My surgery was on August 2, but starting a month before, I had blood tests.. X-rays, an electrocardiogram, drug tests, and even urine tests! There were lots of other things too.... Anyway.. I was admitted on August 1, had a consultation, and did all the tests I’d done a month earlier again.. (why on earth did I do them?? ㅡㅜ) The professor doing my surgery was so busy that I only saw interns all the time, during consultations and everything, and I saw the professor just once right before surgery On top of that, they said I had to “fast” from 11 p.m. on August 1 until I went into surgery at 3 p.m. on the 2nd.. Why is hospital food so tasteless.. lol So around 9 p.m. on the 1st, when almost all the nurses had gone off duty, I went out with friends who came to visit me and watched the movie “The Host” lolol I covered my whole face because I was scared I’d get caught going out lolol Then when I came back it was 11:30.. I fell asleep lonely, and in the morning, around.. 6:50? Someone kept squeezing my arm, so I looked and a nurse was diligently taking my blood pressure and temperature. I was so startled? lol Then they put in an IV.. The doctors and nurses at that university hospital were a little strange.. They say, “It’s going to hurt,” and then do it.. lol Then they said, since this is for surgery, the needle is thick, so it will hurt. And then they wildly stuck it in, hard! Really.... it hurt... They were honest people lolol Then I starved and finally had surgery! Around 2:40, a bed came. I lay on it like in a drama, and the hospital corridor ceiling I stared at... was scary. Then I went into the operating room and there were huge masses of machines!! They put something like a clothespin on my hand, attached about four stickers with wires connected to my chest.. a blue cap, something for measuring blood pressure, an IV.. even an oxygen mask.. lol The atmosphere was totally serious, and the interns watching,... their eyes were intense.... Was that their will to learn? It was exactly like a surgery scene I’d seen in dramas! What was even scarier was that they put a weird switch in my hand and said, if it hurts a lot, press it.. That scared me so much! I tremblingly took the switch. Other people have the radio on.. and a nurse holds their hand.. But for me, the switch held my hand.. It was pretty awkward.. Then they anesthetized me.. What the professor said was.. “The anesthesia will hurt.” And, just as expected, it really hurt.... I got about five shots in one eye.. It didn’t hurt when the needle went in, but the feeling when the medicine went in.. was really electrifying... whew.. Then they drew the line with a marker.. disinfected my face... and then they used something like a different-colored marker and colored my eye again.. for quite a while... So I asked, how long are you going to keep coloring this? And they said, the surgery has started. It turned out that marker was a scalpel! Seriously.. lol In that atmosphere, I got flustered and just said, oh.. like that lolol Then maybe they were removing fat.. they were burning something.. I asked, are you removing fat? And they said, yes. Just a short answer.... But it really smelled like squid... After fasting for almost 16 hours, that smell... was really fragrant.... So without realizing it, I said, I want to eat squid.. Then the doctor said.. “Please keep your mouth closed.” The nurse beside me snickered by herself, then maybe felt awkward, so she wiped blood that wasn’t even flowing, and got scolded by that cold doctor for wiping blood too often lol The scariest thing was that the doctor wore glasses, and the torn skin around my eyes reflected in those glasses.. it was pure horror. Whew..... After that, they anesthetized and operated on the other eye too. I kept opening and closing my eyes... looking to the side and looking down.. Maybe I had a lot of fat.. they kept cauterizing throughout the surgery.. Since they told me to keep my mouth closed,.. I was too scared to ask.. lol After the surgery, the cold doctor said the surgery went well and handed me a mirror. Hearing that, I had high expectations and said yes~ and looked in the mirror, but oh my gosh, that appearance... wow.. Without realizing it, I shouted, monster! Maybe the cold doctor’s pride was hurt.. lolololol They said, “Those eyes can’t get any prettier than this.” lol Then I got discouraged again and quietly said, yes.. lol It was like the whole surgery was a series of being intimidated lol After that, I went to the recovery room for surgical patients, and the person next to me who had pancreatic? surgery must have been in so much pain.. they kept crying, Mom, Mom.. Really... I was so relieved I hadn’t had a major surgery lol In the recovery room they measured my blood pressure again every five minutes.. I think they checked my blood pressure at least 25 times during the whole surgery lolol Then after about 30 minutes I went back up lol As soon as my mom saw me, she burst out laughing, and I laughed too lolol My mom asked if it hurt, so I exaggerated a bit and said I thought I was going to die from the pain. But.. as expected, after surgery they said I had to fast for about four more hours... Really... whew.. Anyway, after a full 3-hour surgery, I was discharged today and came home.
