The photo below is from day 4~ The black things poking along the line are black stitches.... The swelling is going down unevenly; is everyone like that??? My right eye has more bruising too, and the swelling has gone down a bit less. I was taking a photo facing straight ahead, but my eyes kept looking crossed and I came out looking like Auntie Shin Shin-ae lol So in the end I turned my eyes and took it lol ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I had surgery at 10 yesterday, and this is the photo one day later. For the epicanthoplasty, they only slightly removed the Mongolian fold (because the distance between my eyes is narrow...)~ The lateral canthoplasty was also just enough to balance things out.. I used to make double eyelids and go around like that~ so the skin was very saggy~ My eyes were narrow in width, with upturned outer corners.. People who had lateral canthoplasty said their eyes got red~ Mine didn’t get red, the color just seems to have changed slightly... The yellowish?? part behind the eye is the lateral canthoplasty area... The line was set as an out-fold~ It did settle to about an in-out fold, but in the photo it also looks like it’s attached~ In reality, it’s separate.. The epicanthoplasty also looks like wrinkles in the photo~ but they’re not wrinkles, they’re the black stitches that were sewn... (Oh right! I wanted to open it a lot, but they said they couldn’t open it much because my eyes are close together) In the photo, the back part of the double-eyelid fold on the right eye looks like two lines, but one of them isn’t a line, it’s a stitch.. (crappy cameraㅜㅡ) They said it was about 0.9~1.0~ I said I wanted a dramatic double eyelid~ (I brought a photo of Lee So-yeon lol) So they made the line fairly large... I want eyes that are horizontally long and refreshing-looking~~ The doctor was so meticulous~ The surgery started around 10:30 in the morning~ and it ended at 1:15.. I must have opened and closed my eyes 200 times.... To the point my back hurt.. Still, the doctor was so meticulous lol I think the line came out clean and nice... Will it be okay once the swelling goes down?? lol
