I kept wondering when it would settle, and before I knew it, time had passed again haha It feels like everything has completely settled as if it were my original face. They said the swelling and residual swelling would keep going down until the 1-year mark, and now I really understand what they meant. At first I kept thinking the swelling wasn’t going down, that there was no change, and I freaked out over every little thing and kept contacting the hospital to bother the staff, so thinking about it now, it’s embarrassing. My face is already small, but I wanted it to be even smaller, with my features filling the face without any blank space, and especially the cheekbone area bothered me so much that I went through with it. Since I also had a mini lift, I guess you could say skin elasticity? I don’t feel any sagging at least so far. The surgical results are good: the cheekbones that had bothered me were smoothed down nicely, and my lower face seems slimmer than before. The result seems to have come out exactly as the doctor designed while talking with me. That’s why it’s so fascinating. The doctor seemed extremely perfectionistic.
