I did hear somewhere before that since there’s a high chance of needing revision rhinoplasty, using autologous costal cartilage from the first surgery isn’t recommended. But when I actually look at what people are doing, everyone seems to be using autologous costal cartilage. At a place I went for a consultation a long time ago without thinking much, they said ear cartilage couldn’t be used and recommended autologous costal cartilage. If I can choose, is it better to use donor costal cartilage?
