During surgery, a lot of septal cartilage was harvested, so my septum is weakened, and I also have septal deviation. My nose is crooked both internally and externally. The hospital says I need septal reconstruction. I will have the silicone removed. Is there anyone who has had septal reconstruction? If I do it, I think it will be done with autologous costal cartilage, but I’m worried about the foreign-body sensation. Has anyone had this done? I’m desperate. I hope this is the last time.
