6 or 7 years ago, I had surgery with hump removal, osteotomy, silicone, and septal cartilage. After going to consultations, I’m now planning to have follow-up consultations and choose a hospital. Which would be better? A: remove the silicone, leave the glabella as is, refine the hump, fill the area between the nasal tip and hump with ear cartilage while repositioning the nasal tip, and remove as much of the capsule as possible. B: use postauricular fascia to supplement the sunken part of the nasal bridge, reuse septal cartilage for the nasal tip and use ear cartilage if needed, and do not remove the capsule. What I’m most curious about is, for the nasal bridge, is ear cartilage better or is postauricular fascia better? I don’t care about height; I want it to look as natural as possible…
